Kirtipur, November 1, 2026: Janakpur Bolts all-rounder Moeen Ali has reportedly reached 300 wickets in T20 cricket during the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026, marking another milestone in his career.
The England international joined Janakpur for the third edition of the tournament, bringing considerable experience from international and franchise cricket. The left-handed batter and right-arm off-spinner was part of England's 2019 ODI World Cup-winning team and its 2022 T20 World Cup-winning squad.
Janakpur Bolts announced Ali's signing on October 4, describing him as a former England international and a two-time World Cup winner. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball adds valuable depth to the side.
Ali has already made his presence felt in the tournament. Against Kathmandu Gurkhas on October 29, he scored an unbeaten 58 off 51 balls and took one wicket to help Janakpur secure an eight-wicket victory.
The reported 300-wicket milestone adds to Ali's achievements in T20 cricket as he continues his NPL campaign with the Bolts.
